Supporting Patients and their Families

Dawn Huffman-Gudzan, MA

Dawn Huffman-Gudzan, LPN

Dawn Huffman-Gudzan knew early in life that the Medical Field was her calling. She started her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in 1985 working mostly in long term care environments. In 1994 while living in Oklahoma, Dawn returned to school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Since that time she has worked in a multitude of environments including medical/surgical, family practice, long term care and behavioral health.

Dawn is a proud Desert Storm veteran and was on active duty from 1988 to 1992. She also spent time as a Civilian Contractor in Izmir, Turkey serving as a Protestant Activities Coordinator. While in Turkey she kept her medical skills up and was recognized as a “Volunteer of the Quarter” in the USAF Medical Clinic.

Dawn joined Renal Care Consultants in 2016 and works for all of our providers as a “Floater,” filling in wherever needed. Dawn enjoys making a difference in people’s lives and can always be counted on to go the extra mile for her patients.

In her spare time, Dawn enjoys gardening, canning, quilting, crafts and ancestry research. Her home is a self-described “mini-farm” with dogs, cats, fish, chickens and even a goat. As if that weren’t enough, she also volunteers with the Greyhound Rescue Adoption Organization.
